Becoming a VRT Practitioner Virtual Reality Therapy units can only be operated by qualified healthcare professionals. Currently, psychiatrists, psychologists, general practitioners, counsellors, anesthetists and emergency medical practitioners use the technology in their everyday practices. All training in the use of the technology and ongoing support is provided by Virtual Medicine, including maintenance and program updates free of charge. The units are not for sale. They are placed with practitioners on a pay-per-use basis. All training, including operating instructions, patient information and educational materials are also provided. There is no requirement for any knowledge or experience in hypnosis to operate the technology. VRT is a tool design to expand the services offered by a practice and provide alternatives to drug based therapies. In many cases, VRT should be considered as front line therapy prior to or in conjunction with pharmacological treatments. Once registered as a VRT practitioner, your practice will be added to our directory of clinics, and patients in your locality will be referred directly to your practice via our online practitioner locator and the 1800 NO PAIN hotline. To learn more or to arrange an obligation
free demonstration of the technology, contact Virtual Medicine by email
