Wendy Taylor has suffered from chronic migraines for the last 20 years and often spends weeks at a time on drug therapy and has endured surgical procedures in an attempt to control the pain and allow her to lead a normal life. Wendy speaks of her condition since using Virtual Medicine's pain management system VRH (Virtual Reality Hypnosis™).

Wendy tells us of her migraine battle to date
"I've suffered chronic migraine for probably 20 years - the last 15 (years) have been really bad, to the stage where I have been hospitalized with them… I can get them once a week, but the problem is that they can last for weeks on end…"

Wendy talks about her first treatment with VRH
"I was at the stage that afternoon that if I had gone to the doctor, he would have put me in hospital with it (the migraine)… You gave me the virtual hypnosis and it did clear - brought it back down to about a 3 (pain rating out of 10) and I went home and slept it off. Then we had it (the VRH treatment) for the next few nights and I had a really good run for a while because I was migraine free… I was free for about 10 or 12 days, which is a really good run for me… And I probably felt the best I'd felt for a good long time."

Richard Taylor, Wendy's husband talks about the VRH treatment
"I saw a great difference between medication - what she'd been taking for relief of the migraine and the hypnosis therapy machine which seemed to bring Wendy back to earth within about four sessions… After Wendy comes out of a migraine situation, she's got the wrinkles and the aging look about her - on her face - but once she came out with the machine (VRH pain management therapy), the wrinkles weren't there and the taughtness of the face and the stress just wasn't on her face. It was a nice clear face, bright eyes…"

Wendy continues to use the VRH system for ongoing management of her migraine pain and has substantially reduced her reliance on drug therapy and the frequency of her migraine episodes is now less than half.
