The meeting was held at the offices of best selling author Shirley Smith. Also in attendance was CEO of the Australian Counsellors Association, Philip Armstrong who contributed to the day, sharing his personal experience working with VRT, particularly in the areas of weight loss and smoking cessation.

"The neural network and pathways we create cause us to behave and react to our surroundings in certain ways. Over time these paths become strong super highways. Changing these behaviours requires a new network to be created. VRT plants the seeds of these new pathways.

When nurtured and reinforced, true changes can occur and in the longer term, the old pathways die off and no longer have influence over our behaviors and responses to specific situations."

"This has huge ramifications for the way we counsel clients. The counsellorhasthe ability to interrupt and change the response to certain situations and redirect it to form new pathways." Truly permanent change is possible, whether it be weight management, stop smoking, anxiety or pain management."

With this round of training and VRT certification, Virtual Medicine can now offer Virtual Reality Therapy to the public on a truly national scale.
